Nancy Pelosi's (and the Democrats) swan song began with the line, "Impeachment is off the table." I wonder how the heck she thinks the Democrats ran away with the congressional elections of 2006. We wanted investigations into the amazing and incredible events of the first six years of the new century. We wanted the truth. Then Pelosi said off the table,no truth for you. And then in the 2010 congressional elections we simply got tired of waiting. Six years of waiting for something to happen is too long. If the house had been led by Rep. Kucinich in 2006 I think the Democrats would have had the political capital to do anything that needed to be done. Like maybe establish a single payer healthcare system like the rest of the civilized world has. Pelosi ruined it all in 2006. She had the chance but not the courage to do it, and she blew it.
