Irish Debt

Ireland has been offered a nearly $90 billion bailout from other European nations to deal with the country's huge banking crisis. I think they've gotten the "pot of gold" idea backwards. Check out our Irish Debt cartoon slideshow.

You used to have a great lesson plan available about symbolism in political cartoons. It was very valuable for our adult literacy students. Is it no longer available?

    Our old site is still up and running at http://cagle.com.  We haven't been very good about updating the lesson plans, though.  We're looking for a new teacher/volunteer for that.
