These for profit operations are ripping-off the most vulnerable students and the public. Not only are students (and the public) getting a financial screwing, assuming that a graduate (some 15% of enrolles---much worse than any public University's graduation rate among atheletes) is 'educated' is absurd. They learn virtually nothing in their 'virtual' classroom.
At the same time the Presidents of these organizations are raking in millions per year, faculty at public and private universities have seen 7 years of lost purchaing power where even meager costs of living increases have exceeded faculty pay raises--and the picture looks even worse for at least the short run as State budgets take a hammering from the Tea Party.
