Five Labor Day Cartoons

This year, Labor Day has a dark shadow cast over it by last Friday's dismal jobs report, which showed employers added no jobs in August. Jeff Parker of Florida Today thinks it's nice that SOMEONE gets the day off...

Salt Lake Tribune cartoonist Pat Bagley explores useless things on Labor Day...

Joe Heller of the Green Bay Press-Gazette shows the unfortunate similarities between Memorial Day and Labor Day...

Columbia Daily Tribune cartoonist John Darkow thinks Obama might be ready to show a little focus...

While The Record's Jimmy Margulies thinks it's about time for hard-working people to get a day off...
